At Milsgroup we specialise in building a home to suit your lifestyle. We undertake the complete project package to create a seamless, integrated property including the home, pool and landscaping by combining all of these elements under one contract.

We undertake all forms of construction including new builds, extensions, renovations, and outdoor spaces. We build to all genres and styles and insist on only using the best suppliers, materials, and tradespeople ensuring an impeccable finish on our projects. Our site staff are backed by a highly skilled management team to ensure all projects run on-time and on-budget.

Our aim is to ensure each and every project is approached and tailored to suit the results and needs of our clients through understanding, clarity, communication and transparency.

After contact has been made with us, we will generally organise a meeting with you preferably on site, to introduce ourselves and get a feel of the project. Before this initial meeting we would request any documentation you have regarding the project i.e plans, approvals, finishes so we can review prior and come prepared. If you are not yet at this stage and require assistance in planning we offer a bespoke consulting and design service.

Whilst all projects are unique and have individual requirements, here’s a snapshot of what you can expect:

1. Initial Contact

Contact us

Establish if plans and/or designs are required or if you already have this prepared

Arrange site visit with Engage

2. Concepts + Feasibility

Fee proposal for Design Services >> Acceptance of proposal

Design concepts discussed and presented

Cost feasibility of design concepts discussed

3. Conceptual Design

Selected design concept will be further explored

Site assessment information will be compiled including site survey, boundary survey, sewer and title diagrams

Prepare drawings for lodgement to council if required

4. Development Application (DA) / Complying Development Certificate (CDC)

Prepare for council approval

Commence preparation and coordination of documents

Government fees and levies payable

Planning approval issued

5. Construction Certificate (CC)

Appoint a Principal Certifying Authority (PCA) to commence building works

Prepare and submit construction drawings to PCA to ensure DA or CDC drawings adhere to any requirements imposed by council

6. Project Costing

Fixed pricing presented for project based on construction drawings and council requirements

Contract signed >> Start date confirmed

Home Owners Warranty Insurance issued

7. Project Commencement

Works start on site

Regular communication throughout project

8. Project Completion

Practical completion

Occupation Certificate issued
